Expect an evening of eccentric characters, homemade props, and much unexpected happenings of horror! Come along if you're looking for something spooky and ridiculous in equal measures. A great opportunity to meet fellow Monkspotting enthusiasts in a warm and welcoming environment. Find out what it takes to keep St Davids safe from Viking raids, which sadly continue to be a real problem for the local community of indigenous subterranean monks. It will be a really fun immersive evening of conservation, education and demonstration with DEFINITELY VERY LITTLE chance of the whole thing being derailed by Viking raids.

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for booking Monkspotting 2026. You have made the right decision. If you've never been before, please kindly be aware that this show involves live actors predominantly dressed as monks. Some may be dressed as other characters and may interact with you, and there may be jumpy moments which cause shock. But as ever, please don't harm the monks! It is after all meant to be a very silly bit of fun! You may be aware that we have done this as a walk before, but please note, due to the uncertainty over how wet it could be at Halloween, we are hedging our bets and so this year's event will mostly take place inside Curtis House to avoid the potential cancellation disappointment, although part of the experience may be outside depending on what the weather is like on the day, so just be aware of this possibility! If for any reason you need to cancel please let us know if you can up to 48 hours before the event which will allow us to refund you and offer the tickets to anyone who may otherwise have missed out. Cancellations on the day of the show will not receive a refund. The show itself will start at 7.30, with doors open from 7. It will be a BYOB sort of event. The show will last approximately 1 hour and 20 mins with a short interval halfway through. And if all goes well we'll end up in the Farmers for a drink after.
